Spring League 2026 Announcement

**Important Regarding Spring League**

Recently, Elzie notified us of a significant increase in the cost to utilize their facility for our Monday night league, along with some additional logistical challenges. We are truly disappointed and frustrated by this change and sadly maintaining the league at Elzie would have required increasing league fees to $250 per person per season. Due to these factors, the Board unanimously decided to pursue an alternative venue.

As many of you know, securing a facility is extremely challenging. Most gyms prioritize volleyball and basketball, and floorball is still unfamiliar to many locations. Our Board members have exhausted numerous leads, and after extensive outreach, we were able to secure the following option for Spring League:

📍 Flower Mound Community Activity Center (CAC)
🗓 Thursdays | 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

We understand this schedule may not be ideal for everyone, but unfortunately, this is the only viable option available to us at this time. If anyone has a strong lead on a potential facility for future leagues, please contact Nick VanPatten, and we will gladly explore it.

Spring League Registration Details

There are a few important steps and requirements to participate:

1. NTFA Registration
   1. You MUST register with NTFA. The cost in Esports Desk is $0 (This registration is strictly for tracking purposes only, but is a required step!!). 
   2. This allows us to know you are registering with Flower Mound so we know and can make League teams.
   3. After Registering with NTFA, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to the Flower Mound CAC Website.
   4. **Because the Flower Mound CAC collects registration and payment directly, NTFA will not have visibility into who has registered through their system. It is critical that you complete both the NTFA registration and the CAC registration. Completing both steps will allow us to accurately track participation and create teams AND for you to be enrolled with the CAC and secure the limited number of available spots the CAC has for participation.

2. Flower Mound CAC Registration & Payment

   • The CAC requires participants to register directly with them for what they are calling a “Floorball Class” (this is our league) (Link is below and will be included in your confirmation email once your NTFA registration is complete)

3. Payment options for Flower Mound CAC League:

   • Pay 3 months in advance, or

   • Pay monthly at $24 per month (There is no cost difference for paying early... BUT you must remember to pay at the beginning of every month.

   • Total league cost: $72

     • ($24/month × 3 months = 12 weeks; March 19th is the only date we will not have league due to Texas Open)

⚠️ Please note:
Do not attempt to bypass CAC registration or payment. Any attempts to participate without paying may result in the revocation of our privileges, and this facility is currently our only option. The front desk does stop and check every person that arrives, its important that we do not cause any issues or reasons for them to revoke our privileges.

League Dates

• Start: February 5

• End: April 30

• No League: March 19 (Texas Open)
  No League March 28th (CAC Spring Break)

Please also note the following league format details:

• We will not be utilizing boards

• League play will be 4v4 floorball
•  The Flower Mound CAC is a Community center offering this as a “class,” there is a possibility that new or first-time players may register and will need to be placed on a team. Please exhibit patience and understanding for those individuals.
