2026 4th Annual Texas 3 Step 3v3 Tournament Recap

2026 4th Annual Texas 3 Step 3v3 Tournament Recap

Melissa VanPatten

We were so excited to host our 4th Annual Texas 3 Step 3v3 Tournament! ❤💙🤩

This year, we were thrilled to welcome participants traveling from multiple states and floorball clubs. With 71 participants representing 7 different states 😍, we formed 10 teams, making this one of our largest and most diverse tournaments yet. 👏

A huge thank you to Southwestern Adventist University for allowing us to use your beautiful facility to host this event. Special thanks as well to Vesa Naukkarinen and Earl Miller for all your help with preparation and logistics, to our amazing volunteers and NTFA board members who work together to lighten everyone’s load, and to the team handling commentary and live streaming.

To all of the participants who traveled in—we truly appreciate the time and commitment it takes to attend, and we hope you enjoyed the tournament!

🔥 Why We Love 3v3 Floorball 🔥

3v3 floorball is fast-paced and high-energy. With fewer players and more space, the pace is nonstop—constant movement, quick transitions, and every shift matters! More touches mean more opportunities to create, shoot, defend, and problem-solve. You cannot hide in 3v3—everyone gets to contribute!

3v3 is also perfect for developing technical skills and game IQ. It’s a very skill-forward format where tight spaces and speed reward stickhandling, vision, creativity, and smart decision-making.

More speed. More skill. More fun. More growth.
This is why we love 3v3 Floorball!
