NTFA Summer League - Week #2 (Jun 14, 2021)

NTFA Summer 2021 League Game #2 is Monday, June 14, 2021.

Captains for this week are Nick VanPatten - Blue (Nvanpatten@metalsubstrate.com 848-609-0720) and Sean Hickey - Red (seanpathickey@gmail.com 817-371-5905).  Rosters are posted.  Nick's team (BLUE) will arrive early to set up boards.  EVERYBODY SHOULD BRING A RED AND A BLUE JERSEY IN CASE OF ROSTER ADJUSTMENTS DUE TO DROP-INS OR NO-SHOWS.

Schedule:

7:00 - 7:30 pm:

Arrive, setup, drop-in team assignment, warmup.  Blue team is assigned rink setup, Red team responsible for assigning scorekeeper and rink cleanup.

7:30 - 7:50:  Training Topic

7:50 - 8:00:  Warmup, game prep, final rosters submitted

8:00 - 9:15:  Game (3 x 20 min)

9:15:  Cleanup (Red team puts away boards/nets)

Last week's game was very competitive.  Everybody was excited to get back to 5 v 5 competition.  With a full 60 minute game, there was no shortage of playing time.  Some players had been away from floorball for a year and for the rest, the 5-week hiatus since the end of Spring season meant that timing and moves were a little off.  It was great to scrape off some rust and build some chemistry with new teammates.  Case Connor and Tyler Radichel led the scoring with 3 points each and Ethan VanPatten had a standout performance in goal for Blue.  Since we change teams each week, the team name listed for a player on the stats page reflects the current team assignment and not the team where points were earned.
